TRACKBACKS of "LIFE".....

Funny how life works...and how things "trackback" to each other...and now, here I sit - typing a comment about a blog post that is relevant to my life - but had nothing to do with why I originally read this particular post. I was posting on my favorite board, and saw this box at the bottom labeled "TRACKBACK." I'm fairly new at all this schtuff...and had no idea what that meant. So, the one thing I love about the Internet is 'searches'...so I used Google and was linked back to Angie's blog- on trackbacks. So to better understand...I came to this blog on Sunday Thoughts ....and was pulled in. To be honest...I don't know her as a writer (although I've been an avid scrapper since 1999- and she apparently writes scrap booking books! May have to check her out!). But, I feel the same way about busy-ness, business...and "life" sometimes. I've been a designer of women's apparel for the last 14yrs...and freelance since 2003. I wonder what direction is next - is my time "up?" Or was the first 14yrs. a transition to something different and new? Anyhow...it's got thinking about "where I am" and "what I am feeling"....I need to look at this deeper...I'm not satisfied in this malaise I've been feeling...maybe it's New Year Blahs....or coming off the fun 'high' of the Holiday season.
Incidentally...I haven't scrap booked my family stuff for about 8 months...and I'm YEARS behind...this is soooo frustrating. I miss scrap booking - and have been thinking about all I want to do now that we are "settled"...but would feel guilty if I were to get all the stuff out! (like there is something "more important" I should be doing!)
UGH....maybe there is a NEW YEARS RESOLUTION in here somewhere....I'll have to explore that!

SELF PORTRAIT: I'm learning to be okay with seeing "me" in photos before my surgery...it's hard - I barely recognize myself anymore.... and I still hate my double chin....it this picture it is not the worse I've seen. Strangely enough...even through all of the weight gain...I still feel beautiful, sexy, confident...this is amazes me.

Don Knotts

A sad day as Don Knotts passes away at 81. Will always remember him for the Incredible Mr. Limpet... I haven't seen it in years, but from what I recall it's either romantic or stupid, things I loved as a child. I also remember his duo with Tim Conway...what a helarious couple of men!!
Now, I feel sad for my daughter as well...b/c he has currently been the voice of "Wormie"(tan catapillar to the right) in the "Hermie" DVD series!! Tim conway is the voice of "Hermie," the green catapillar in the Max Lucado DVD series about Hermie and friends...~
